NEW YORK-Peak Technologies, Symbol Technologies and Syclo have entered an alliance to integrate with MRO Software’s MAXIMO, which they said is the leading strategic asset management system on the market.
“This alliance joins the best-of-breed providers in every area of the mobile asset management market,” said Ken Noreikis, business development manager for Peak, headquartered in Columbia, Md.
“Symbol (based in Holtsville, N.Y.) provides leading-edge mobile computing hardware for the factory market. Syclo (based in Barrington, Ill.) delivers the wireless software interface for MRO Software’s MAXIMO Mobile Suite, and PEAK offers one of the largest and most skilled implementation teams that can deliver mobile computing solutions around the globe.”
The alliance, announced August 5, will add functionality to MAXIMO Mobile Suite that includes: capture of daily time and attendance data for payroll reporting; creation of new work orders on demand; transfer of work orders among technicians or across shifts; recording of parts and labor used, failure codes, work-order status and comments; performance of condition monitoring, readings and rounds.
