Sprint obtains $1.5B credit facility

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-In support of its reported financial health Sprint Corp. said it had obtained commitments for a new $1.5 billion revolving bank credit facility to replace its existing $2 billion facility scheduled to expire next August. Sprint noted it had no plans to draw against the new facility.

Investor’s last week questioned Sprint’s fiscal resources sending its wireless division’s stock plummeting from $3.75 per share to as low as $2.36 per share on Friday.
