SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif.-Landmark Communications Inc. acquired a majority interest in Shorecliff Communications Inc., a privately held trade show, conference and magazine publisher specializing in the wireless broadband and wireless infrastructure industries, Shorecliff announced.
Shorecliff owns and produces the annual Tower Summit and Trade Show and the Broadband Wireless World Forum. The company also produces numerous wireless industry business-to-business conferences in the United States and Europe, and publishes the trade magazine, Broadband Wireless Business.
Landmark Communications is a privately held media and information company based in Norfolk, Va., with national and international interests in newspapers, broadcasting, cable programming and electronic publishing, including The Weather Channel. It also owns a fixed-wireless broadband company and a career schools division.
