PALO ALTO, Calif.-Bermai Inc. announced it has added $5 million to its series A funding, brining the total for the round to $20 million.
The additional funding comes from LG Electronics, a major backer of the STIC Ventures fund. “We see Bermai as an emerging vendor that will enable the rapid adoption of wireless connectivity products in the consumer electronics markets,” said Hyun-Keun Lee, director of the strategic corporate venture team for LGE. “This synergy with LGE makes Bermai an excellent investment for us.”
