Ericsson wins contract in Yugoslavia

STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Ericsson AB said it has won a $105 million contract to supply Yugoslavian major carrier Serbian Mobtel with GSM network equipment, targeting 2 million subscribers.

“The enhancements this contract brings will allow Mobtel to offer the newest mobile Internet services to our users as well as prepare us for major subscriber growth,” said Sreten Karic, general director of Mobtel in a statement.
