SAN FRANCISCO—Cisco Systems Inc. announced it is restructuring the company into 11 groups, one of which is wireless. The networking giant said it sees signs of the company stabilizing.
“These are changes to grow our business, not to reduce headcount or other issues,” said John Chambers, chief executive officer of the company.
The other groups include access; aggregation; Cisco IOS Technologies, which is its operating system that runs its networking gear; Internet switching and services; ethernet access; network management services; core routing; optical; storage and voice.
