Rogers Wireless Inc.’s ownership was incorrectly stated in the story “Rogers aims to take company back to private status” in the June 18 edition of RCR Wireless News. JV II, a 50: 50 joint venture between AT&T Wireless and British Telecom, is a minority owner of Rogers Wireless Communications Inc. Its parent and majority owner, Rogers Communications Inc., plans to take the wireless business private through a share buy-back program and turn it into a wholly owned subsidiary. When that transaction is completed, JV II will retain its 31-percent ownership of Rogers Wireless’ voting shares and 40 percent ownership of Rogers Wireless nonvoting shares.

The ownership of Wherify Wireless was stated incorrectly in the May 14 edition of the paper in the story “Philips expects Bluetooth, cellular to combine for strong location-based app.” It is an independent company.
