ALLENTOWN, Pa.-Agere Systems, the former microelectronics group of Lucent Technologies Inc., has released a chip that switches voice and data signals, doubling the channel capacity of other products for wireless base station controllers and voice over Internet protocol networks.
The chip will be demonstrated at next week’s CT Expo show in Los Angeles.
