Matsushita joins SyncML initiative

HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. reported that Matsushita Communications Industrial Co. Ltd. joined the SyncML initiative, formed to develop and promote an open industry specification enabling the creation of interoperable wireless and wireline data synchronization products.

Matsushita joins existing SyncML members Nokia, L.M. Ericsson, Lotus, IBM Corp., Motorola Inc., Palm Inc., Psion plc, and Starfish Software.
