BASINGSTOKE, United Kingdom-Dolphin Telecommunications Ltd. launched ResponseNet, the first of its Industry Net products, and confirmed that beta trials of the service have been successfully concluded.
The new service allows critical services, including police, fire departments and local governments, to coordinate activities during major incidents using Dolphin’s Terrestrial Trunked Radio network.
“This is just one of the Industry Nets Dolphin will be offering and I think it is significant that the emergency services have taken so readily to the benefits that Dolphin’s TETRA-based services offer,” said Mike Webb, managing director of Dolphin.
