LISLE, Ill.-Indian mobile network operator BPL-US West Cellular Ltd. said it again selected Tellabs’ MartisDXX managed transport network solution for the expansion of its Global System for Mobile communications digital cellular network. The contract was awarded through Motorola India.
According to Tellabs, the subscriber base and traffic on the GSM network offered by BPL-US West has grown significantly over the last 18 months. This latest expansion will be deployed throughout the operator’s network in Maharashtra and Kerala states.
