VIENNA, Va.-Omnipoint Communications Inc. awarded TeleworX a five-year, $4 million lease for wireless network design and optimization tools-including Max, Xcalibur and PlotworX-for use in all Omnipoint’s U.S. markets.
Max is a fixed network planning tool that analyzes multiple network routing alternatives and calculates the least-cost design for the back-haul portion of wireless systems, including optimal hub locations.
Xcalibur is a radio-frequency design tool that provides real-time propagation modeling, frequency planning, interference analysis and measurement data integration.
PlotworX analyzes data collected from drive testing and makes plots, graphs and reports from the information.
