TDMA ROYALTIES PROPEL REVENUES AT INTERDIGITAL

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-InterDigital Communications Corp. said its results for the second quarter were the strongest quarterly results in its 16-year history as a public company.

InterDigital’s reported net income of $27 million on revenues of $46.4 million for the second quarter, up more the 150 percent compared with an $8 million net loss on revenues of $18 million for the same period a year ago. Revenues generated by new Time Division Multiple Access licensing agreements propelled the substantial improvement, said InterDigital.
