MALAYSIA-Tecnomen Malaysia announced it signed a contract to deliver a multimessaging system for an 1800 MHz Global System for Mobile communications network owned by its subsidiary Telekom Cellular.
Under the terms of the contract, the system will include centralized voice and fax mail services for 300,000 GSM subscribers. It is the first step toward the company’s goal of unified messaging.
Tecnomen is owned by Kyro Corp., a telecommunications, energy and safety glass firm. Tecnomen designs and manufacturers enhanced services systems and wide-area paging systems.
