BETHESDA, Md.-Sprint Spectrum L.P. has launched data/fax service on its personal communications services network in its Washington, D.C./Baltimore market.
Sprint PCS customers now can send faxes and send and retrieve e-mail, transfer data and access the Internet on the Global System for Mobile communications network.
The service is available to Sprint PCS customers for $5 per month and 10 cents per minute. Use of the service requires a laptop computer and a data kit that connects to a Sprint PCS phone.
