CLEVELAND, Ohio-Reltec Corp. reached an agreement to acquire GPT Ltd.’s Ballynahinch manufacturing operation located in Country Down, Northern Ireland.
The operation specializes in electrical manufacturing capabilities and complements Reltec’s other operations in the United Kingdom that provide integrated external mobile radio base station enclosures for wireless communications networks, said Reltec.
GPT Ltd., which is owned by the General Electric Co. of the U.K. and Siemens AG of Germany, is one of Britain’s largest telecommunications companies.
