DALLAS-PageMart Wireless Inc. agreed to supply paging products and services to RadioShack. PageMart said it already is shipping products to more than 3,700 RadioShack stores, which will begin selling pagers nationwide during the second quarter.
“RadioShack sells pagers in more outlets than any other national retailer,” said Doug Kramp, vice president of national retail for PageMart Wireless. “The company disseminates millions of sales catalogs each year. Their aggressive advertising strategy coupled with the company’s reputation for quality and emphasis on knowledgeable, well trained sales representatives make RadioShack an ideal account for PageMart.”
RadioShack, a division of Tandy Corp., conducted a trial of PageMart’s products last year in Hawaii and California. PageMart’s network covers the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
