MINNEAPOLIS-WirelessNorth L.L.C. will use Code Division Multiple Access equipment supplied by Motorola Inc. in its personal communications services network.
Motorola has agreed to supply its SC 604 and SC 601 compact CDMA radio base stations and a high-capacity EMX 2500 mobile switch.
WirelessNorth said it expects to begin rolling out personal communications services late this year. Its markets include Fargo and Grand Forks, N.D., Fergus Falls, Brainerd, Willmar, Marshall, Duluth, Worthington, Rochester, Bemidgi and Mankato, Minn., Eau Claire, LaCrosse and Superior, Wis, and Watertown, S.D.
