THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.-ConectUS Wireless Communications said it is ready to begin retail product and service delivery of the Inter@ctive 2Way pager through its network of resellers.
ConectUS service is operational in 10,700 cities in the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The first service offering will include full nationwide service, Internet e-mail, operator dispatch service, unit-to-unit messaging and fax service, said the company.
ConectUS will use the Motorola Inc.-owned Ardis wireless network to handle its messages.
“The Ardis network assures us of a very reliable service,” said company President Dennis Scully. “The system has been operational for over 12 years, and Ardis has worked out all of the bugs.”
