TAMPA, Fla.-GTE Telecommunication Services Inc. said it will provide its Access S&E roaming administration service to BellSouth Mobility DCS. The service provides settlement and exchange of roamer billing information among personal communications services providers in North America, Latin America and Europe.
GTE TSI will serve as the clearinghouse for billing records generated by BellSouth Mobility DCS customers using their Global System for Mobile communications phones while traveling in other GSM markets throughout the world. The service supports GSM and Advanced Mobile Phone Service transmission standards.
The service will allow BellSouth Mobility DCS to send data to a single point of contact, verify information about users and review key market analysis information.
