Because of industry consolidation and regulatory change, RCR has combined its Top 20 Radio Common Carriers and Top 20 Private Carrier Paging features.
Four of the companies on last year’s list have been acquired. Metrocall Inc. acquired A+ Network Inc. this month. MobileMedia Communications Inc. purchased BellSouth Corp.’s MobileComm paging subsidiary. Arch Communications Group Inc. acquired Westlink Paging and AirTouch Paging purchased Message Center USA Inc.
