OULU, Finland-Nokia Telecommunications announced plans to expand its base station production in Oulu, Finland, due to increased demand. Beginning next spring, the base stations will be manufactured in a new facility near an existing factory.
Last year, Nokia expanded its base station production in Oulu by adding a research and development premises and production capacity. In addition to Oulu, Nokia manufactures base stations in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and China.
