APT CONSIDERS POSSIBLE INVESTORS

American Portable Telecom Inc. said it continues to consider investments by one or more strategic partners, including Korea Telecom. The company said so far no agreements have been reached.

Headquartered in Chicago, APT has licenses to provide personal communications services in markets covering 27.3 million people, including those in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Tampa-St. Petersburg-Orlando, Fla., Houston, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Mo., and Columbus, Ohio.

ADC to distribute Midland products

American Digital Communications Inc. plans to acquire international distribution rights for Midland Land Mobile Radio products and about $1 million in inventory from Midland International Ltd.

Operations will continue under a new name. The new company will be a wholly owned subsidiary of ADC headed by Michael St. Eve, the current president of Midland.
