AT&T Corp. has acquired McCaw Cellular Communications Inc. and Lin Broadcasting Corp. Contel Cellular Inc. has been merged into GTE Mobilnet Inc. Bell Atlantic Mobile and Nynex Mobile Communications have pooled their cellular properties.
Sprint Cellular Co. is now Three-sixty Communications Co.
New Par is an equal partnership between AirTouch Communications Inc. and Cellular Communications Inc. The AirTouch subscriber count excludes New Par.
