BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s Network Ventures Division and Telular Corp. have signed an agreement allowing Telular to become a preferred supplier of fixed wireless subscriber equipment to Motorola NVD’s cellular joint ventures worldwide.
Under the terms of the agreement, NVD cellular operations will have the right to enter into a separate “preferred customer” agreement whereby the operator can purchase Telular fixed wireless products at contract prices. NVD operations will receive further technical training and installation support directly from Telular as part of the agreement.
Telular has distributed fixed wireless terminals for existing cellular systems and for turnkey wireless local loop programs in more than 70 countries.
