RCR CHANGES TO WEEKLY FORMAT

DENVER-RCR Publications Inc. announced the newspaper will be printed weekly beginning Jan. 1 to keep its readers better informed about the constantly changing wireless telecommunications industry.

“The wireless industry is at a crucial turning point in its history,” said RCR Publisher John Sudmeier. “Even as the industry is consolidating, wireless carriers and manufacturers are expanding into new markets and new services are beginning to become reality. RCR will be at the forefront of those developments-by giving our readers the most current industry news.”

RCR will continue to publish its daily RCR.Newsfax newspage to keep readers up-to-date on wireless industry happenings four times a week.

“In its new weekly format, RCR will keep doing what it does best-give our readers the most recent regulatory, business and international news taking place in the wireless telecom market. And by being delivered weekly, it will give our readers more of what they want,” commented Editor Tracy Anderson Ford.

RCR is owned by Crain Communications Inc. In addition to the newspaper and newsfax services, RCR publishes annual cellular and paging handbooks. RCR, Radio Communications Report, has been published since 1981.
