MELBOURNE, Fla.-Skydata Inc. will deliver satellite data broadcast equipment to EuroCall’s paging network in the Republic of Hungary, Skydata announced.
The paging network, which uses Glenayre Technologies Inc.’s ERMES paging system, will include as many as 100 remote paging transmitters. A Skydata satellite paging receiver will be installed at each remote transmitter site.
Skydata offers radio frequency transceivers, paging link networks, data broadcast networks and other equipment for C- and Ku-band frequencies. Matra Marconi Space of France and Samsung Corp. of Korea are major Skydata investors.
