ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Metrocall Inc. has completed its merger with FirstPAGE USA Inc., increasing the company’s total pagers in service to more than 585,000.
During the company’s initial public offering in July 1993, Metrocall had fewer than 220,000 pagers in service.
The company also announced a $125 million credit facility with The Toronto-Dominion Bank, to refinance existing debt, assure the availability of financing the acquisition, and to fund future acquisitions.
