Brazilian telecoms operator Intelig is focusing on the government segment to acquire new customers for its corporate services, local mobile telephony operator TIM (NYSE: TSU) top clients director Leonardo Queiroz told BNamericas.
“The Brazilian government segment is very big and includes the largest clients across the country,” he said. Intelig was acquired by TIM in April 2009 in a capital increase operation.
“The integration with TIM enabled Intelig to expand its portfolio of services and to participate in bidding processes launched by municipal and state governments as the company previously focused on federal government projects,” the executive added.
