LONDON—The Mobile Entertainment Forum announced a new board of directors and created two regional branches in Asia and the Americas to further growth in the regions.
The new board includes executives from industry players, such as Vivendi Universal, Universal Communication Platform, PacketVideo and Purple Software. The new divisions include one in Singapore headed by OpenMobile and one in the United States.
The group said priorities in the coming year include outreach to major entertainment companies and interaction with the European Union and other regulatory bodies.
