Cristina Battista has been named managing editor of RCR Publications Inc., replacing Tracy Anderson Ford, who recently was promoted to editor of RCR.
Battista previously was managing editor of Business Geographics magazine, published by GIS World, Inc., Fort Collins, Colo., where she worked for five years. Business Geographics covers geographic technology and desktop mapping use by business people for applications including site selection, target marketing, demographic analysis and distribution.
