LG Optimus Mach Launched in South Korea with Ennio Morricone Tunes

LG’s newest Android

2.2 Froyo smartphone, the LU3000, has been launched in South Korea under the name LG Optimus Mach.
What’s interesting about the Optimus Mach – besides the fact that it’s faster than other Froyo devices – is that LG has teamed up with legendary composer Ennio Morricone, who recorded original orchestral music for the smartphone. Users will be able to enjoy unique ringtones, as well as theme songs from famous films like Cinema Paradiso and The Mission (for which Morricone composed the soundtracks).
The Optimus Mach LU3000 features a 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, HDMI-out, 5MP camera, HD video recording, and a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor. It should be available in South Korea starting this week, in both black and white.

LG has also announced that the LG SU660 – the South Korean version of the dual-core LG Star – is officially called LG Optimus 2X and will be launched sometime soon. It remains to be seen if the name Optimus 2X will be used only in Korea or not.
