Demand Data Services files claim against Wireless Matrix

CALGARY, Alberta-Demand Data Services Inc. filed a statement of claim against Wireless Matrix Corp. alleging Wireless Matrix breached contractual obligations. Demand Data Services is asking for injunctive relief and declarations of interest and costs.

Wireless Matrix, which sells products and services for wireless access to corporate information, said it believes the allegations “are without merit,” and said it plans to file a statement of defense.

Also on the wireless enterprise front, Summus Inc. said it signed a financing agreement for up to $10 million, which the company said will help finance its efforts in selling a variety of wireless alerts and information products.
