Jeff is CEO and Editorial Director of RCR Wireless News. He is also the Managing Partner, Arden Operating Company, owner of RCR Wireless News and Telecomcareers, a leading industry job board founded in 1999. Over the past 20 years Jeff has been involved in many facets of running day to day operations for telecom, wireless, commercial real estate and energy services companies and has raised over $300 million of debt and equity for companies in which he has been involved. Previous roles include Chairman and CEO of ConnectSouth, a regional DSL company, President of a facilities based CLEC; and SVP Sales and Marketing for Clearwire.

Dan started at RCR Wireless News in 1999 covering wireless carriers and wireless technologies. As Editor, Dan oversees editorial direction, reports on news from the wireless industry and provides opinion stories on topics of concern to the market such as his popular Friday column ‘Worst of the Week’.

Portland, Oregon based, Marshall Kirkpatrick is the former Lead Writer at ReadWriteWeb and TechCrunch.
Roberta Prescott, Editor in Chief Americas. Channels: Latin America & Enterprise
Roberta Prescott is responsible for Latin America reporting news and analysis, interviewing key stakeholders. Roberta has worked as an IT and telecommunication journalist since March 2005, when she started as a reporter with InformationWeek Brasil magazine and its website IT Web. In July 2006, Prescott was promoted to be the editor in chief, and, beyond the magazine and website, was in charge for all ICT products, such as IT events and CIO awards. In mid-2010, she was promoted to the position of executive editor, with responsibility for all the editorial products and content of IT Mídia. Prescott has worked as a journalist since 1998 and has three journalism prizes. In 2009, she won, along with InformationWeek Brasil team, the press prize 11th Prêmio Imprensa Embratel. In 2008, she won the 7th Unisys Journalism Prize and in 2006 was the editor-in-chief when InformationWeek Brasil won the 20th media award Prêmio Veículos de Comunicação. She graduated in Journalism by the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, has done specialization in journalism at the Universidad de Navarra (Spain, 2003) and Master in Journalism at IICS – Universidad de Navarra (Brazil, 2010) and MBA – Executive Education at the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
Martha DeGrasse: Technology Writer & Producer RCR TV. Channel: Devices & Mobile Technology
Prior to joining RCR, Martha DeGrasse was a business news writer and producer for CNN and Dow Jones Television in New York during the 1990’s. In Austin, she has produced the 6:00 news for KEYE-TV and managed the editorial operations of the Hoover’s Online website. She has spent the past several years at home with her children, and for the past year and a half she has been a writer for The West Austin News. Martha is an Austin, TX native and graduated from Stanford with a degree in economics.
Matt Kapko, Contributor
Matt Kapko is a relentless journalist and writer who specializes in the converged space of mobile, digital media and entertainment. He keeps an eye on all things mobile with a special focus on media, entertainment, enterprise and devices. In 2009, Matt founded Eye on Media, a firm that offers a wide breadth of journalism and consulting services, including high-level research and reporting, analysis, writing, media positioning, content strategy and management. He also regularly writes and edits features, columns, articles, case studies and reviews.
Matt contributes feature reports and articles to RCR Wireless News. He holds a double major in journalism and history from Humboldt State University and has worked as a journalist in small towns and big cities up and down the California coast for more than a decade. His work has been published in dozens of publications ranging from news wire services to national newspapers, digital media and entertainment sites, and business-to-business media outlets. Matt is as much a fan of music as he is an avid traveler. He likes cellphones a bit too much and lives in Long Beach with his wife and two cats. Derek Kerton runs the wireless practice for the Kerton Group, a consulting firm focused on advanced telecom, and is chairman of The Telecom Council, an association for global telecom executives.
