LTEWS: Bright Box connected car demo

Ivan Mishanin, managing director at Bright Box, gave RCR Wireless News a demonstration of the company’s connected car platform that allows users to control aspects of an automobile via smartphones and tablets.
Aspects that users can control include opening the car’s trunk, opening the vehicle’s doors and being able to locate the car in relation to the smartphone or tablet being used. It also provides information such as the vehicle’s temperature and speed, and outside temperature.
The connected vehicle market is expected to see strong growth, and the space has been gaining momentum in recent announcements such as Google’s introduction of an Android competitor to Apple’s CarPlay service.
