Watch for a smart Apple wristband as soon as this fall — that’s according to The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the Apple smartwatch will debut in multiple screen sizes. Health and fitness monitoring will be a focus, with up to 10 onboard sensors. Apple has been vocal about its interest in mobile monitoring of fitness and health, with CEO Tim Cook often sporting a Nike Fuelband. The company launched HealthKit this summer to give software developers tools with which to build health-related iOS apps.
In other news, BlackBerry is not giving up on the smartphone market. The company says it will have a new smartphone this fall. More on that in the video below.
