Google has announced a major upgrade to its Google Maps app for iOS and Android. The app will now suggest alternate routes to you while you’re navigating, and will even tell you when you need to change lanes. You can also save routes and maps to your Google login, and then when you sign in you’ll be able to see them on other devices. Google has also integrated Maps with more than a million public transit stops so that when you tell the app where you want to go, it can tell what your options are for getting there.
