Video: Ixia talks transformation, launches new network tools

Jim Doherty, SVP of marketing at Ixia, explains recent acquisitions that have transformed the company over the past two years. These include BreakingPoint systems and their security assessment technology as well as the network visibility space from Anue Systems. These acquisitions are designed to help Ixia compete in the carrier and enterprise markets on live production networks. With the acquisition of Net Optics, Ixia now says it has the broadest network visibility portfolio of any company on the market.

With these in mind, the company launched their Network Visibility Architecture to solve network visibility needs. They also announced the NTO 7300 traffic aggregation tool. Both of these are designed to help carriers bring products to market sooner, help with performance testing, and maintain optimized and predictable traffic results.
