AT&T Mobility set to expand GoPhone offering

AT&T Mobility (T) is set to expand its GoPhone prepaid service with the launch of a $25 per month plan that includes 250 calling minutes and unlimited messaging.
The new offering will join the current GoPhone plans that offer unlimited calling, unlimited text messaging and unlimited data for non-smartphones for $50 per month; a $2 per day plan that includes the same features; or a traditional pay-as-you-go model that charges 10 cents per minute for calls, 20 cents per text message sent or received and pay-per-data usage.
The carrier noted during the second quarter that it added 137,000 prepaid customers to its network.
