Crain Communications, publisher of more than 30 highly respected business-to-business newspapers and Web sites, has sold the rights to the RCR Wireless News name and Web site to a new owner, Arden Media of Austin, Texas.

“We look forward to bringing the loyal readership of RCR fresh content, access to relevant industry employment information and links to some of the other products we have in Arden,” said Jeff Mucci, CEO, Arden Media.

Crain-owned RCR Wireless News closed its print edition and Web site after 25 years of servicing the mobile technology and wireless industries in March 2009.

Arden Media anticipates the re-launch of the site to occur soon.
