XM Radio Mobile does what it says, but that doesn’t mean it’s worthwhile. Application. XM Radio Mobile powered by QuickPlay Media Running on BlackBerry Curve over Sprint Nextel’s EV-DO network.
Editor’s Note: Welcome to our weekly feature, Yay or Nay. Every week we’ll review a new wireless application or service from the user’s point of view, with the goal of highlighting what works and what doesn’t. Application: XM Radio Mobile powered by QuickPlay Media

Running on: BlackBerry Curve over Sprint Nextel’s EV-DO network

Yay: Diverse choice of music channels. Easy-to-use interface.

Nay: Streaming music is a killer on battery life. And the sound quality is sub-par.

We say: XM Radio’s move in the mobile space provides several unique features that set it apart from dozens of similar offerings, but some hiccups prevent it from being worth the price of admission.
