Venture capital financing wrap-up: Flipswap, Transpera, Trust Digital and more

The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.
Convergin: Pitango Venture Capital invested $10 million into Convergin, which provides telecom service mediation and orchestration solutions. The Series B funding round will be used to accelerate the company’s market presence. Rami Beracha, managing general partner at Pitango, joins Convergin’s board of directors as part of the financing round.
Flipswap: RRE Ventures and NGEN invested $14 million in Series B funding into Flipswap, a company focused on mobile device trade-ins and electronics recycling.
IntelePeer: VantagePoint Venture Partners led an $18 million round of funding into IntelePeer Inc., which provides hosted on-demand rich media communications. The third round of funding also included participation from existing investors. The company said it will use the funding to expand its global presence. The company is headquartered in San Mateo, Calif.
MoJiva: Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments invested an undisclosed sum into mobile advertising and publishing company MoJiva. The New York City-based company also announced David Gwozdz as its new chief executive officer.
Transpera: Flybridge Capital Partners led an $8.25 million round of Series B financing into Transpera, which offers a platform to monetize Web video on mobile phones. New investor Labrador Ventures and existing investors Intel Capital and First Round Capital also participated in the funding round.
Trust Digital: Core Capital Partners participated in a $14.5 million round of funding into McLean, Va.-based Trust Digital, an enterprise mobility management provider. The company will use the funding to extend the company’s platform to include RIM BlackBerry devices, the Apple iPhone and Google Android. The funding will also be used to expand direct sales and channel partner support.
