Antenna Software snaps up Vettro

Vettro Corp.’s strategic assets have been acquired by Antenna Software for an undisclosed amount.
The New York-based company has sold assets that include products, intellectual property, select customers and related contracts, and alliance and channel partnerships, Antenna Software announced Monday.
The sale gives Antenna Software expertise in information technology management, delivery and courier companies, transportation, utilities and field service management. It also strengthens the software company’s position as a leader in the mobile enterprise application platform market.
“Through our acquisition of select Vettro customer relationships, Antenna is executing on its plan to expand channels for growth of the Antenna Mobility Platform,” Jim Hemmer, Antenna president and CEO, said in a statement.
Existing Vettro customers will now get service by Antenna Software. In the future, the company plans to switch its Vettro customers to its platform.
