Venture capital financing wrap-up: Amobee, Eye-Fi and Paymo

The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.

--Amobee: Motorola and Cisco Systems made strategic investments in mobile advertising company Amobee Media Systems. Existing investors Telefonica, Vodafone, Accel Partners, Globespan and Sequoia Capital also participated in the funding round.

--Eye-Fi: TransLink Capital led an $11 million round of funding into Mountain View, Calif.-based Eye-Fi Inc. The company makes wireless memory cards for digital cameras. LMS Capital, a new investor for the company, also participated in the Series B funding round. Existing investors Opus Capital and Shasta Ventures also participated. Toshi Otani, managing director of TransLink Capital joins Eye-Fi’s board of directors as part of the funding.

--Paymo: U.S. and European angel investors invested $5 million in seed funding into Paymo Inc., which formerly was mTN Global. The San Francisco-based company provides a solution that allows customers to make purchase online and pay for them using their mobile phone.
