EMS provides wireless patient care system to Henry Medical Center

ATLANTA—EMS Technologies Inc. is providing Atlanta’s Henry Medical Center with Mobile Clinical Workstations, patient care carts that allow hospitals to use wireless applications at the patient point of care.

“Utilizing the Mobile Clinical Workstation, nurses can input their nursing notes, order and review lab and x-ray results right at the patient’s bedside. Having the system at the point of care improves processes and ultimately improves the delivery of care to the patients,” said Lillian Fulton, clinical information systems analyst and project manager for the Periop Electronic Charting System at Henry Medical Center. “Now, we can do it all in one place. Nurses are already seeing improved efficiency.”
