KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sprint PCS and Motorola Inc. announced the availability of Motorola’s new StarTac ST7867 dual-band Sprint PCS phone.

Later this month, Sprint PCS will add the Motorola Timeport P8167 and Talkabout T8167 phones to its line of Code Division Multiple Access phones, the company said.

“With Motorola’s new dual-band phones coupled with the connectivity of the Sprint PCS Wireless Web, users are able to conduct online trading with Ameritrade, access flight information, stock quotes and weather updates while on our nationwide network,” said Charles Levine, chief sales and marketing officer for Sprint PCS.

The StarTac phone is available for $230, the Timeport will be available for $300 and the Talkabout phone is priced at $250.

All three phones offer up to 4.2 hours of talk time and 170 hours of stand-by time in digital mode with an extended lithium-ion battery, the companies said.
