BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Bell Atlantic Mobile added almost 1 million customers and earned revenues in excess of $3 billion during 1997, the company recently announced. The company also expanded its Code Division Multiple Access network to cover all of its markets and 75 percent of its pops last year.

Bell Atlantic also said that during 1997 it experienced a 74-percent reduction in cellular fraud after deploying authentication and radio-frequency fingerprinting technologies.
