Colombia’s Emcali invests $460,000 to expand public Wi-Fi coverage

Colombian municipally owned company Empresas Municipales de Cali (Emcali) is investing U.S.$460,000 to expand public Wi-Fi throughout the city of Cali. Chile to bid out 1,000 Wi-Fi public hotspots

Oi moves Vex integration forward

Almost one year after acquiring the Wi-Fi company Vex, Brazilian telecom carrier Oi announced that it has integrated both companies’ networks.
