The certification process is an extensive review of a company’s financial status, organizational structure and includes a site inspection to ensure a company meets the requirements for being certified women-owned. Certified businesses are qualified to bid on portions of government contracts that are specifically reserved for woman and other minority owned businesses as well as partnering with larger organizations committed to diversity programs.
“Many large contracts, especially government ones, have conditions that require successful bidders to use a diverse supplier base to fulfill these contracts. Companies often struggle to find telecommunication staffing suppliers that can both deliver the quality of staff and meet their supplier diversity requirements.
