Geek culture geek Victor Agreda Jr. joins RCR

Agreda brings experience in software, coding, mobile gaming and more

Please join us in welcoming tech aficionado Victor Agreda Jr. as the newest contributing member of the RCR Wireless News editorial team.

In addition to hosting Coders, a weekly TV show about telecom software development, Agreda will be writing and producing TV programs on a range of mobile technologies including software, the “Internet of Things,” wearables, devices,  mobile gaming and more.

Check out the latest episode of Coders in which Agreda discusses telecom API technology.

Tune in next week as Agreda digs into the Arduino open-source electronic prototyping platform.

Agreda is a self-proclaimed geek culture geek, a writer-at-large, host of Angry Dad Gamer on twitch.tv and executive producer of Superpixel Studios.

Over the past eight years, Agreda has served as editor-in-chief for TUAW.com, programming manager (support) for DownloadSquad.com and Spanish-language versions of Autoblog and Engadget where he managed a global workforce of freelance writers and producers.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in English, Agreda taught multimedia and game design at a technical college and blogged for Weblogs, which was ultimately acquired by AOL.

Look for Agreda in Austin, Texas, at the RCRatx Studio Lounge, his home base in Knoxville, Tenn., on Twitch or other techy locations around the virtual and real world.

Agreda will help RCR Wireless News continue to deliver insightful and relevant news content, while expanding our reach into other areas of the technology that’s rapidly reshaping our world.
